It can definately be sucked in more, but the way it sits now would work on the civics or tegs with half radiators. Im pretty sure he didnt have to cut any of the elbows that make the "horns" as it makes it so much easier to fab up a ramhorn that way. The only way to really do that is to not cut the 180 horns and push them out there. I could be wrong though, they are only pictures, but weve been messing with quite a few lately.

 

Dan makes them the way I showed him how. It fits all EG,EK, and DC with half core radiator and no A/C.

As far as how it fits, it is built to fit all Civic, Del Sol and integra's with B series engins. If you were to put a square across the head flang ang turbo flang you would have a hair over 90 degrees. And yes, a topmount is almost on the drawing board.
