did you use fiberglass cloth or matte?

You're actually supposed to make a mold of the front end first, and then lay your glass and resin into the mold. And you're going to need some pretty thick layers...i would think at least 3 or 4 gallons of resin if not more to make it strong enough. Then after that dries, you sand down the rough top layers, apply your gelcoat, let that dry, add a little bondo here and there, sand it, prime it, then you're done. Trust me...it takes forever to do this stuff. I used to build fiberglass tubs for 911's at the old speed shop i worked at, and it's not even worth the effort of doing it yourself. It would actually be cheaper to just go and buy one, and look better too if you've never done this stuff before.

OK well i live in michigan and it sucks cause ther is like no shops up here.But if any one know were there is one around here.Like ohio and illnios thats fine even wisconsin.
