Default Is this ok for a collector?

I know it needs tidying up, this is just a practice, but is the general idea ok?

pretty good job for using a grinder and a cutting wheel. a mig welder will fill the gaps rather easily. best most affordable tool to do this would be a chop saw with a jig. i went a step ahead and purchased a cold saw but of course its not needed.

Thanks. I have done a bit of research since and made a jig for my chopsaw, going to practice with some PVC this weekend with different angles.
