oil pan return line

doez ny1 know if i can weld the oil return line fitting with Plumbing Solder or Brazing Rods and a Gas Torch. or will it melt when it gets hot, or what the best way to seal it tanx

i don't see why not. you might also look into jb-weld. hmt has shares in it.

$5.14 at the closing bell Friday. Tuesday the company is coming out with higher than expected earnings due to mexicans turbo'ing thier cars in thier driveways, so we may be looking at bumping 6% on Tuesday. Normally this would happen on Monday, but this week the market is closed due to marthur luther day.

You really don't describe what pan and fitting you are dealing with. Welding / Brazing is somtimes picky about that stuff...

Pan - Stamped Steel or Aluminum?

Fitting - Brass, Steel, or other?

Either way, If you are using a Stealthmode kit, JB weld fits everything.
