Tanks Mon, I jus need to ditch mi MIG welda for a TIG. I think I want to go straight to TIG instead of fiddling around with the MIG welder.

I can tell by looking at the welds that he has gotten the heat down. That's the hardest thing for people to learn when welding stainless. It's much more sensitive to heat than carbon steel or aluminum.

From this point, his improvements will be based on consistency and puddle control. I think he's got a good start now.

The only reason i'm ok at TIG welding is because i have so much MIG experiance. I would admit it would be harder to TIG if i had not learned mig first. I'm not talking flux for mig either. thats a whole different world

Anytime stefan, You should see the last one I did, I think i pretty much have welding these down. I can't wait to doo the collectors
