It made 360hp to the wheels and I thought it looks just like the new camaro as well. It should make almost 600hp when were done and run about mid 12s. Heres my progress today...
I think were going to have to cut a hole for the intercooler. Theres not much open space for air flow

Beautiful car man. Does look alot like the camaro, but a lil better IMO...they're both nice looking cars. A guy at the dodge dealership told me it was gonna make 425hp, but I'm impressed with 360 all the same.

If you do the math 425 to the crank sounds about right if it has 360 to the wheels.

no, no it dosen't it looks strangely like the origonal challanger

as for hp i think its rated at 425hp and 420ft-lbs witch is not bad but it is 6.1L so the power per litre is not great and it only comes with the 5speed auto
witch is gay but i hear they are thinking of making the base challanger (as this is the high hp srt8 version the only version for sale in 2008 and all of witch are sold as are most 2009)
have the srt4 calibers 2.4L turbo but instead of 285hp and 260ft-lbs, it would be making arround 300-320hp and 280-300ft-lbs witch would be cool
and then the mid level would be cool to use the 4.7L sohc v8 in the trucks (but it is detuned to 260hp in the trucks to make you want the 390hp 5.7L hemi, the 4.7 could easily be making 350-400hp and 325-360ft-lbs) and then use the 6.1l hemi as the srt8 but with some boost to hit the magic 500hp mark (wouldn't take much boost either and could easily hit 600hp if they wanted with some more boost and you have a zr1 corvette killer)

i think hey should make it lighter tho as it weighs like 4100lbs hell the charger and magnum are only like 4250lbs
if they could get it arround 3600lbs like a mustang it would be allot better (tho it has irs witch the mustang still don't)

They both look like original one. Those car are hot! If the gas price drop in a couple of years, sure I get one :P

I can't wait to see that car finish!

This is your car or just one you have to work on at your job?

Any idea what they will be tuning it on?

This is the "shop" car and we use Unichip for tunning. Finished the driver side header...

I dont have my intercooler yet so i had to make one to represent it so i can make room for it.

Passenger side
