shop i worked at had an old sears 80, that looked like it was from the mid 60's. It only turned on once or twice a day. unless I was blowing carbs out, or ------- around with a dye griinder.

When I was younger some guy had an 80 gallon that exploded and took out 2ft dia cinder block wall, come to find out he never bled off the moisture.....rusted the inside of the tank thin and BOOM.

when i was younger i used to lie to be cool too, doubt it ever happend.
"exploded and took out 2ft dia cinder block wall" what the hell is that? 2ft diameter cinder block wall... hmmm round walls made of cinder blocks, sounds amazing

On our farm we hooked our 2 HP compressor to one of our old big water pressure tanks (30 gallon?) when the stock 10 gallon tank rusted out. It has worked fine for over 10 years.
Just look for old water pressure tanks, the bladder inside breaks so it won't work for holding water and air, but it will work fine for just air.
