I talked to a lincoln rep and even he told me that the millers are a better tig welder, but they are catching up

yeah, if i bought another welder to replace my miller 180sd, it'd be another miller. if i was buying a welder for the first time it'd probably be the new miller 200. they have a lot of nice features for what you pay for.

The thermalarc 185 TSW is a awsome machine.The inverter smaller miller is a really nice machine as well.The regular transformer machines are all pretty much the same thing and all are comparable.

Pulse tig is nice,but it isnt really needed.Adjustable wave is good if your welding really crappy castings or aluminum that was pulled out of the swamp.It isnt really needed with proper prep and enough amps either.
