nice randy. its getting there. did I read 4130 on the cage correctly? you using chromemoly? man you got me wanting to swap my stuff in the 75 corolla really bad now. I was thinking about what you said as far as leaving it toyota powered. and the thought has crossed my mind a few times. is the 3tc short block and tough as a TF shortblock? I'm really getting pissed with this PCMX software and looking to go standalone and if I do that I could just run toyota power all together and shave off alot of weight.

Looks great Randy?

What kind of bender did you use for the cage? I'm thinking about buying a bender and have gt350 do the welding for me since he's a better welder.

The 3TC block and crank are darn strong , but pretty much everything else has to be replaced .

But I needed a cahnge, so I went for it. I still have never even heard a 3tc run. lol

Yep using 4130 for the cage, figured since I have a tig now I might as well use it as much as possible.

The bender I am using is from pro-tools
http://pro-tools.com/105.htm

I also picked this up and it has been a great help
http://www.2020softwaresolutions.com/prod02.htm

I'n hoping for 400hp at the wheels, that along with a raceweight around 2300# along with rear drive should put it into the 6's (1/8th mile) pretty easy. Sure is going to be fun driving to the track, bolting on the slicks and wheelie bar and having some some fun
I hope to have some pictures of the car stting on dragliyes here soon.. not really ready for them but I need some motivation.

cool didn't realize you bought a tig. I just bought a 185 precision tig from lincoln myself. awesome machine. it's getting there. keep up the good work. you'll be beating your 10.88 here before you know it. I've never heard a 3tc either, but I have heard a 2tc. naturally aspirated though. lol

I bought a Thermal Arc 185, I wish I would of spent to money for a tig years ago. Between the tig and my cheapo harbor freight 4*6 bandsaw I am not sure how I use to even get anything done.

Good Eye Neuman! Hey are those 13 inch wheels ( the black ones) ? What kind of tires? Maybe I'll keep my 13's if I can get some good tires for them. Nice Job !!!!!!
