Wow the project looks like its coming along nicely.Is this a drag or street car?I love old rwd imports.I have been wanting a RX2or3 for a while to make a drag car.

I love those things! There was a guy at the track with a Rotary with what seemed like a 400 shot on it. That thing flew.

The log mainfold was the first try, it probaby would of worked just as well. But I wanted something that mounted the turbo up a little higher. The engine looked a little lopsided with the turbo mounted down low.
Plus I have a little downtime while I wait for the seats to arrive so I can finish the cage. Going to make a stainless minfold from weld L's next, the one I just made is from 1 5/8" 16 gauge steel j-bends (and it was a PITA) Later Randy |
