it wont work.
the welder is shorted inside.

the plug shoulv have 4 terminals, and kinda look like a cross.

ground goes on the bottom, outside is a 120v hot leg, middle is the nuetral, and the other is the other 120v hot leg. perty simple

220v plugs from 220v based places have threee prongs, ground/live and neutral :P

in isreal, is there a 3 wire 220 volt system in residential meaning. 2 hots(120/220) and a neutral/ground going into the panel or is it like the u.k's 2 wire system 1 hot (220) and a ground/neutral.
