I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS:
i used a volt meter to check continuity between the power and ground wires. and THERE IS CONTINUITY. |

Re: just got my Hf tig AND IT JUMPED the electricity at my house :S
I'm sure he is using a multimeter, ass ::)

Re: just got my Hf tig AND IT JUMPED the electricity at my house :S
damn guys he said he checked continuity... its not like he said he checked the voltage
so he should have said ohmmeter or multimeter ::) |
Re: just got my Hf tig AND IT JUMPED the electricity at my house :S
It's HF so hell you could set it on fire and bring it back and they wouldn't give you any hassles and just give you your money back no questions asked. They know the ---- they sell so their used to getting alot of ---- coming back. I'm surpised that if they had a extended warranty they'd probably just give you another item of what you just bought. :P

Re: just got my Hf tig AND IT JUMPED the electricity at my house :S
did it trip the smaller breaker or did it trip the main breaker.
I am not sure how Isreal is but most 220+ volt breaker I have seen has a 90ish main breaker then devide into smaller one for different circuit. Try to plug it into outlets that has a bigger load rating ( A/C, washing machine and such) and see what sup. BTW the 50/60 hz thing will NOT trip any breakers. man i remember getting shock by 220 volt felt completely different then 120volt here :X :l |
