This is ruining Bizzar's rep as a friend. your work is amazing, but he tried to help boost your business by buying from you, but now you're pulling this CC-Fab bullshit.
I was giving the guy a big price break and helping him out when I was at a low time (that setup is usually $650 shipped)
then god forbid life happend, materials were out of stock, my old man was behind on flanges (rember he builds flanges for over 20 companies and does some oil industry work on the side) and last but not least, I had bigger orders come in that were paid alot higher than their normal price for expedite that I had to take care of also.

I wish more people would read "The E-Myth". Talks about how just because you are good at doing something, doesn't mean you should be an entrepreneur and start your own thing.
In my experience, fabricators have a really really hard time making deadlines. For some reason they always over promise and then get behind and have a hard time, then shut down business. It's not because they aren't good at fabricating, it's because they don't know how to run a business.
There's no shame in that though. It's harder than people think. The smart thing to do though, is find someone who can run the business, and keep the roles separate.
Anyways, I can understand both sides of the story. Unfortunately both sides end up losing in this situation.

I bet if you were to have tried building that complete setup for $260 labor you would be eating what you just wrote now...

2) If a log manifold and downpipe take you longer than a full 8 hour dedicated day at $32.50 an hour, I can't help you.

Re: JG-Fab customer review.
I make parts for escorts, specifically swaybar endlink kits, and I sure as hell dont advertise or promise to sell anything that I KNOW I cant get out on or before that date. To do otherwise is just stupid. selling stuff is a legally binding contract. He sends you money, you send him ----, thats how it works. when I get behind, I bust my *** harder, as someone else said. Last week was exam week and instead of studying for exams, I spent several nights turning delrin for bushings, because I was behind. I have yet to have a single angry customer, and I even had one customer that fucked up, cross threaded the bolts, and then whined to me that he couldnt find new ones, so I sent him some new ones for free. That is how you keep a good business running.

BMCRace has awesome quality from what i have seen. but customer service is horrible. although i will edit that out of my post if i can get an intake flange. money is ready

You guys are a bunch of girls. James is talented, cheap, and is still pretty young. People in the auto business get super busy in the spring. One day the orders just keep flying in. But in Janurary it is slow, everywhere. May it is crazy and behide everywhere. Plan your projects early.
