I sort of checked into it, but for as small is it was and for the amount of weight it was going to be with the car on it, the cost wsn't worth the taio of weight saved. It would still have a heavy axle and springs, The front a=frame would have to be thick, and then the tongue would need to be bolted on. Anytime I can replace a bolt with a weld I'm all over it. lol

Any idea what the trailer actually weighs? How much more would it have been to get brakes on the axle?

The alxe has the brake brackets already welded on, so I just need to get a brake kit off ebay. Brakes will add about $125-150, When I wired the lights I went ahead and ran the wires for the brakes and used the large trailer plug.
I have no idea what it weighs.
