I have already bored the stock throttle body to 64mm from the stock 60mm and installed a new brass plate. I see no need to buy a new throttle body for a 2-4mm larger bore. The main reason for this is cost. I have less than $70 in parts so far and I would like to keep it that way. The inside of the runnersis radiused so I do not think that I will see any greater flow gains unless I spend $40 a piece for velocity stacks.

I think that this a superior design to those with velocity stacks for turbocharged cars. Companies like virtual works have smooth entry runners that out flow veilside velocity stack runners by almost 30%. The velocity stacks cause turbulance which disrupts the air flow.

Too clean for HMT. You could've at least JBwelded the vacuum ports. Nice work bro. Now, you just gotta figure out a price and sell them bitches on H-T.

I think you would sell them like hotcakes. There are also some accord/prelude specific forums that would go for it. Even more so if you got some dyno numbers.

I would like to get some flowbench testing to compare stock and the custom intake manifolds before I put it on the car to tune. But I will have to find a flowbench first.

wow I have been contemplating doing a manifold for the b20 in my 89 lude and that is just too nice, kudos on the work and hope it performs the way you anticipate it to
