im not bad mouthing teh 2.3L colin you know me from my gen1 gt escort days. im jsut laughing at the guys from the speed shop jacking ther dog over 300wttq until i layed down 226. i mean 226 isnt crazy but its damn nice for a 2400 lbs car.

I finally got it running! Yesterday, actually!

That's idling around 700 rpm with a little revving... runs pretty damn good, considering I haven't even set my base timing! :1

I've gotta finish building my alternator mount, fill it with coolant, set my base timing, mount and wire a battery, and do some rough tuning before I can even think about driving it anywhere. :y

Ahh, well... fuggit. My jalopy won't be roadworthy by tomorrow. I'd come down there in the Toyoda, but I'm too broke to afford a tank of gas right now. :X
