Ford 2300/Volvo 16V/Holset/Megasquirt
I'm the newb... name's Colin. I've got an '85 Merkur XR4Ti. I'm working on adapting a DOHC Volvo head to the Ford 2.3 block... I built a Megasquirt PCB V2.2 for the car... it's got a Holset, NPR IC, fabbed log manifold (poorly fabbed, I might add!), and a Ford Cosworth intake manifold with a Volvo flange (poorly) welded to it. Should be running this summer - hoping for 400+ whp on pump gas. :y

looks really good man, and definately not the everyday honda fab stuff so their is a little more work and research on your end, props to you man. What size is that oil feed line? looks a little big..

The feed line is -6... I should probably be using a -4AN, but the fitting going into the Holset is a 3/8 inverted flare, and I could only find a 3/8 to -6 fitting (meant for power steering.) I hope I don't blow out my seals... :l

pics work for me... Man you got some hardcore fabrication going on there with the head, these are some serious serious mods. Has that been done before (doubt it but i have to ask?) because it looks pretty hardcore mang :y. That log mani doesnt look that bad, i mean, it is a log but from the way you were talking i was thinking it was gonna be pretty haggard... Looks pretty good

i don't know if that's quite HMT quality, very nice fab work though and props on the head/block combo. looks like that took alot of calculations and research :6 welcome, i'm still pretty much a noob |

Here are some of my crapass welds... Crapbell Hausfield flux-core MIG (well.. not even MIG, since it doesn't have the Inert Gas part.)
