im actually going to look into having a local company that has a CNC laser coper cut these for me.

there was some autocad files of a collector on here a while back, anyone know where they are or want to make one?

 

If you want a CAD or 3d DWG if these let me know through PM the Angle and length. I'll do you up for it at work or at home on my free time.

 

i dunno the angle exactly, but with the two cuts it needs to be 1/4 of the circumfrence at the bottom side so the 4 pieces make a complete 4 sides, and i cut it so that the top of the cut is about 1" from the top of the tube.

want the length of material to be 5"

 

Let me play around with it at work tomorrow at work and see what I can do for CADS dwgs.

id weld up the inside center of the collector also just to fill that spot in a little, all in all looks pretty good jason

weld up the outside and then stick a pair of visegrips down in there and pinch the points together. It will look great when done.
