BEST 15 minute job EVAR!

But, I'd be pretty ---- about making the center of the merge come to a point smoothly... it is THE reason merge collectors work.

I've made a couple recently on my bandsaw but it's tough as hell to get the cuts correct. I'm not off by a lot but things certainly aren't perfect. You make a cut and then rotate the pipe 90 degrees for the next cut right? I try to keep the same angles but something is off.

After you make your first cut use a square against the guard and the pipe to get your 90 angle. That should make all pieces fit pretty close. Also use real light pressure on the band saw when you start your cut so the blade does'nt walk away from the gaurd. I usually hold up on the head of the saw a little bit until the blade diggs in to keep that from happening. Good luck....

I am curious to see how you and dave clamp your pipe to the bandsaw
