Are you planning on driving this much? Have you considered the driving characteristics that having a front mounted shackle are going to bring into the game?

Most people complain that front shackled Jeeps are always all over the road and drive like doo doo.

and the front slip yoke is prone to explode your transfer case (horror story)....... do a slip yoke elimination :y

I had the same truck but white with wood panels, im sorry did i say truck i meant submarine.

well from reading what others have done and doing some thinking of my own, a front shackle is the only practical way to do it since otherwise you end up with a screwy spring angle unless you build the crossmember to sit a lot lower which i dont want to do. Although most people dont seem to have a problem with the front shackles when doing the leaf conversion, im prepared to build a trackbar if necessary. It seems that people have problems/complaints about both front and rear shackles, so neither is really a clear choice.

if you mean the slip yoke for the rear driveshaft, mine is a 97 so there is no risk of it popping out and dumping all the fluid from the case. Anyway, ditching the slip yoke is pretty much a given with this much llift.

specs on the cherokee is i sold it and i kick myself in the ass everyday now.

no the front driveshaft..... with a shakle reversale your shackles flex the other way and if you jumps whoops or rythum sections watever you wana call it, the front end flexes opposite as oem, towards the rear, sendind you slip yoke through your baby new procces Tcase.... i think i dunno i just herd of it watever im a tard
