To all the people wondering about els or weld els, they are really called Butt Weld Fittings in their normal industry (industrial hydraulic and plumbing).... Most industrial plumbing suppy houses carry or can get them. Mcmaster Carr has them too..

To the OP, looks pretty good. I hope you got good penatration on it since you ground it smooth...
