He's right, that's what HMT is. Stick whatever you have together with some flux wire and go with it.

i havent even cleaned the pipe yet like most of the guru's said if its no going on your car dont ------- worry about it some header wrap and it will be fine ---- its already welded 3 times over if it breaks ill just go 6 i know im a newb my self but half of the new newbs have no room to talk you can pay some 1 100+ to fabb up a dp for you my car is made by me for me. ill blow your ------- doors off and if my downpipe should so happen to fall of i can say ---- it it cost 30 bucks leave it on the freeway and keep going. (End Rant not intened to people who talk ---- then give tips i know it ugly but hey it dont leak and its stuck together)

Don't worry - you won't be able to get a gas weld to look like that unless you're melting the rod onto the surface, skipping over 1/2 inch and melting another gob, etc... make a puddle and dip - you'll do fine. :y
