at my last co-op, a friend of mine made this strut bar for his 2005 ford foucs zx3


Here are a few different angles to see how it looks.

I cannot remember what he made it from, but he put the bends in it himself and did all of the fabrication. I did help by telling him how thick my brackets were on my strut towers.

Hope this inspires some more projects...

this only cost... what it was for the electricity to run a few tools.. all the other pieces were laying in the shop.

to make an adjustable go buy two 10$ hiem joints/spherical rod ends, and either tap the pip or weld in a threaded insert and your done

Yup made an Adjustable C and a B Pillar Bar, but will be replacing them with a cage. May be offering them thruough LSD Motorsports soon.

This brings back memories. Here some pics of a strut bar I made about 4 years ago. Made from 1" x 1/2" steel. The mounts are from a junkyard.
