Nah I just welded it.

I put large bevels, or chamfers on the edges of the T's and elbows where they met so there was a nice groove to fill with weld. There tons of weld left on there. Most of what I ground away wouldn't have affected strength at all.

Awesome job, the collector looks a tad on the small side, but that turbo probably has a small inlet on the turbine, so it probably doesn't matter.

yeah exactly. The "collector" pipe was 1.5 black iron. the scroll on the turbo was about 1.5" also.

I just noticed how tight the space is for the nuts to fit in. Did it take forever to bolt it onto the head?

Other than that, manifold looks good for the money spent.

Hahaha...trust me, the middle nut usually sucks to try and get on. Oh, and have fun with the dipstick in the center there. Seeing you basicly copied the one I made last year, do yourself a favor...take the stud out of the head that ends up between those 2 T's, and grind the head down on a 12mm head bolt and use that instead. You should still be able to get a wrench on it, and if you're lucky you might just be able to use the dipstick the way it's supposed to be lol.

Yeah I haven't bolted it up yet, I've been busy fabbing up and exhaust system which I will be taking some pics of and posting. Came out really good.

I figured I'd have a problem with the dipstick. I'll probably bend the tube back a little bit or something.

Thanks for the heads up man! What's the pitch on the exhaust studs BTW? 12mm x 1.25?
