which block you using?

 

d16a1, liquid alum filled, sandblastede block and head(going flat black) je pistons, was thinking TT rods.

 

ya. just get some tt LS rods and you should be good to go.

 

the LS rods will fit the D16 crank?

 

You would need to get a machine shop to take off .020" from each side.
Better that, then boring out the small end and risk messing up the brass bearings.
just take a stock d-series rod to the machine shop with the LS rod and they will match it.
