Default Chinese TIG welder owners (especially Smiley's) I need your help~!

Ok I was doing the pedal mod to my little old smiley. I took the rheostat out of it and stripped back the wires. Well all of the insulation came with it. So I need a picture of the back of your Rheostat or can you tell me the colors looking at it from the back. I think it was red-black-green (left to right).

If any can help that would be great.

P.S. if you take off your cover be sure to blow out the machine while you are there. They hold a ton of dust and ----.

Thanks
David

which smiley was it?
oh, and i gave mine a pulser by putting together a timer controlled electronic relay to swap between two pots. One of them is a slide pot mounted to the torch, since the pedals just don't stand up very long to someone welding on a regular basis

It was one of the first units. The all in one 120 amp tig/30 amp plasma with the Arc/TIG/Plasma. IF I can get a picture of the top board and the rheostat I could wire it up. Other than that I guess I can try to check the leads with a volt meter....Ill go take a picture.

Here is the top view. The screw driver is pointing to the connector that goes to the Rheostat.

1/4 stereo jack installed.

Here is what I was left with after stripping it.

Front looks like this

Thanks for any help you can offer.

never seen one but typically the green is the sweeper the black and red are self explanatory.

and CHECK YOUR ------- SPARK GAPS while you have the case off. If the spark gap get's too far out of spec for too long it'll burn your HF board out bigtime.

Sweeper meaning its the middle terminal and then the black and red really wouldn't matter.? Do you know what the gap should be?

Well there was a write up JKmotorsports did once but all the pics are gone. Its basically just putting the rheostat in a pedal assembly. My pedal will be here soon. Hopefully by then someone will get me a pic of their smiley insides.
