Aslong as:
1) It is a clean surface that will give the epoxy grip (textured/sanded, ect) 2) The part does not get hot enough to allow the epoxy to uncure Then it will probably hold. |

A threaded in pipe fitting with epoxy or other high temp sealant on the threads would be held in mechanically rather than just relying on adhesive bond strength. That would be better, hopefully that's obvious.

i modded a s2 gsr mani to fit my b16 head and had to move the steel water neck so I cleaned it and jb'd it and it didn't hold. There was jb weld attached to both parts after though.
