Check how I get ganstsa!!!! JB weld inside
6 Attachment(s)
Got this turbo out the junkyard, it works I used it with no water cooling lines. On this other set up I wanted to water cool it this time.
I don't know if it will hold but I drilled a hole in the side of the upper rad hose spout and JB weiled that ---- Attachment 14893 Attachment 14894 Attachment 14895 Attachment 14896 Attachment 14897 Attachment 14898 Do you think the JB weld will hold? |
Re: Check how I get ganstsa!!!! JB weld inside
Even my limited knowledge in cars says that jb weld just wont hold. Possibly the first time ever

Re: Check how I get ganstsa!!!! JB weld inside
I am not sure what will happen
The cooling system is only like 215 degrees max and under less than 20psi The hole is not extra big, the brass fits tight in the aluminum. JB weld package says you can use it on both metals so I cleaned it and I think it might hold |

As long as you cleaned both surfaces really got you shouldnt have a problem with it.

I ground a hole through an intake runner, into the water jacket, on an old Ford 390. I JB welded that shitt and it held untill I sold it 2 years later. It's probably still holding! O0

Umm-- the thermostat housing looks reasonably thick- drill/tap it and thread a fitting in for ---- sakes. :8
