there is no track that I have been on that would allow that setup(road course)
maybe on a drag strip but not a road course

I like mine better. It's a stock headrest frame with a plate welded on and a nut/screw for the camera. Goes well on the passenger seat. Just wish it would swivel, but putting the seat forward works fine.

looks real enough to me.

Also, I do not doubt that a road course would not allow it, if I built it for a road course it would be mounted to the cage. This is for auto-x, hence no cage, no chance of rolling.

I like the headrest mod, it would give a higher position for sure, but I usually run with a passenger.

my race car has a windshield mount with a bullet camera into a 1080p hd recorder 60frames per sec
amazing video!

if i didnt have racing seats id do that.... i think when i get a harness bar ill make it able to hold a camera
