Has anyone been able to find a box that fits teh factory sized batteries? I don't want to put a huge *** battery box, and a small battery in the car. Post links if you have the answer please?

Custom is easy. Search the rule books and there is all you need to know.

As for the Oddysey Battery. I'm getting one soon. I found them for 85-95 online depending ong it being the 585 for the 680.

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag as of yet, but here's a box I made for my battery. Basically a single piece of sheet metal, bent with my table vise, fastened with rivets. After this, I drilled 2 holes; 1 lines up with a bolt from the tow hooks(on my crx) and the other lines op with one of the bolts from the stock battery bracket. They're diagonal from eachother, and I didn't want to drill and use self tapping screws. The battery is a sealed lead-acid type, that I may start selling on this site, as a contributor. We'll see how that goes.

You can always get the regular size battery box at canadian tire, and then put some styrafoam/cardboard around the battery so it dosnt fly around in the box.

Here is my box, its the regular size one and sells for about $12, right now I am using a med size battery and it fits in the box with only some slack, when I had the stocker I just cut up some cardboard and stuck it in nice and tight around the battery.

Mine is an ammo can modified to lower the battery and I raised the lid half and inch to clear the terminals. The latch rivets were drilled and the latch was modified and rewelded 1/2 inch higher so it still latches like it did before the hinge was moved.

Battery is a 330cca lawn mower battery and it starts my KA24DE just fine even in 32 degree weather.

I like that, too.

However, the 260-280(?) CCA battery I have clears charge pipe by miles in the stock ED chassis location, so I don't have to fool around with running a couple bucks worth of welding cable, or having a legal sealed + vented battery box.
