I think the reason you passed tech is because I *THINK* dryells dont absolutely need boxes. They are completely sealed and can be mounted in any direction. I have that same battery, was going to mount it in the back, but it fit in the stock tray w/ the charge pipes next to it. so this way i dont have to worry about possibly not passing tech.

I find that the tech guys really only bother you if you pull up with a half-assed car or nitrous. |
