i was using a clarke 130 mig with the flux that came with it. when im not sick anymore im gona go cut some ---- up and weld it back together. how much is gas setup? i need tanks and a regulator right? i already got the gas line commin out the back

Cheapest thing i've seen is to go to harbor freight and get a regulator and buy one of their small tanks. Not sure how much a regulator is, but i know the tank you can get for around $70. Shouldn't be more than $40 to fill up the tank after that. I personally rent bottles for mine, and it was some heavy coin to start...$100 deposit on the tank, $100 to rent it, and $60 to fill it. But it's also one of the 5 foot bottles that will last me at least 3 months.

start with your wire speed on very low and your amps/temp down.
get a feel for it and speed up

BTW: DO NOT BUY ZINC COATED EXHAUST PIPE AND WELD IT, If you breathe in the Zinc from the smoke you will get sick, and a trip to the hospitel for Zinc poisening,
