um sure hit it hard jd with come crisco to make it stick really good then add some toothpaste to coat the rod before you start your brazing as flux

Whose is that? that sux man.

BTW, I do have some experience with aluminum brazing...That ---- gets expensive though, last i checked you can get HTS2000 for $65/per pound. :P

It's mine, Rob, you sure you don't recognize the piston with the hole beaten in it from ashEVILle legend? I finally got off my lazy *** and made Wes go get it for me.

HOnestly I tried a AL brazing rod and I went through half a bottle of MAPP and the damn piece of intake manifold flange I was brazing melted before the rod did. lol.
