Default Adapter plate I made

So I welded this ghetto ****** up the other day so I could use my subaru RHB5 on an HF manifold I got. It's made of 2 pieces of 1/4 steel with some cut bolts welded in to the 3 bolt side.

Gotta give credit where it's due. I got the idea from mike's adapter plate in the turbo project section.

It's not finished yet, I still need to cut some excess from the HF piece so it fits better, and I need to grind some relief for the nuts, and cut the studs back a bit so they clear the downpipe. I probably won't be using this turbo for very long, just to start getting boosted, while I wait for my thunderbird RHB5 to get rebuild by BLAAST .

well It's two different turbos. The plate is for a subaru one which I'm not rebuilding. The one being rebuilt is a bigger T-bird RHB5. The housings and wheels are bigger on that one and should work perfectly on a D-series.

Yeah it is small but since I'm not upgrading the engine, I figure if it worked good on a shitty-flowing 2.3L then it should work decent on a well-flowing 1.6L

Should of just welded the flange onto the HF mani. Or hell just welded that damn rhb5 to the manifold.
