you dont need to hold a normal helmet unless its the type that has no strap to go around your head...just flip it down

no strap. its the shitty mask that comes with the welder. has a handle

i was thinking of modifying it to have a strap though. nothing a driill and some straiiping couldn't fix

my welder came with the same i just let my friends use it when we are welding... i bought an auto darkining from harbor frieght for $45 its the best investment yet... Nice welds i to am a newb to welding but i think im doing better than a month ago... keep practicing and you'll get there...
