1.8t + Garrett t series t3/t4e 57 trim
my friend purchased a garrett t-series t3/t4e 57 trim turbo, treadsone manifold, and a tial gate...
here is the car that it is going on... don't mind the birdshit weld for the greddy flange.
the project has been on it's way since yesterday but here is what is done so far...
heres the new turbo mounted...
heres the stock "pancake pipe" that is being modified till funds for piping are available...
my buddy is eventually going to go for 350 to 400whp on this setup but until programing is on 10 psi is max...
btw, i have the 75/25 mix for my solid wire on my mig welder and it's not sheilding correctly... anybody have any advice?

Re: 1.8t + Garrett t series t3/t4e 57 trim
ya the stock turbo is really small butt it's harder to pull from out of the car than putting the big turbo in... that stupid muffler looking thing gets in the way...haha.not sure if he'd be willing to sell the turbo but it has shaft play anyway... the side to side is not bad but there is a little in and out... i'll let ya know if it is for sale...that ecu flash he got on there prolly put alot of strain on the turbo... he was pushing about 21/22 psi out of that little thing. but ya we just started yesterday and all of the modifying of stock ---- is going on today.. i'll have more pictures fo sho
in the mean time heres a few "other pictures"

well the car is running... we still have a few kinks to work out but even at 10 psi it feels pretty quick....
oil feed installed
heres my ride
stock oil drain cut
modified stock pipe to work with new setup...
downpipe...
the rest of the exhaust
fyi every cut made on this project was done with a hack saw... haha the calender is for motivation...
dumptube...
temporary ghetto intake...
from under
should have some ripper vids or more pics soon....

I helped my buddy work on his 1.8t must have installed that gt35 like 10x. Working on the back of the motor sucks *****. Good solid HMT work though. You got a miller welder though, no excuse for those birdshit welds. Get some practice
