Re: Zeitronix brand new defect.
I wired mine up to my buddies car this weekend, it takes a lil bit to figure it out. I would start loggining and it would suddenly stop. I was like WTF, but down in the corner it said that it was still logging but I couldnt see it on the laptop. You have to hit spacebar to keep it scrolling with the current info that its recording. I was VERY pleased with my unit. Make sure that you have all the ground wires hooked up, theres like the 2 brown ones for the sensor itself and then the power ground. You have to have em all wired up for it to work. Tunning was great and I cant wait to get my other buddies car hooked up to see what his AFRs are like... BTW do you all have laptops that have serial ports? All I can seem to find is laptops that have USBs. So I got a serial to USB adapter from the local comp. store and it didnt work. A good friend happend to have a 7 year old laptop that had a serial port and so it worked out well. Tunning was a snap and his car runs quite a bit better. Now we just have to find out why its holding 7psi sometimes and other times is goes to 7lbs then dropps to like 4lbs...

Well I guess thats just it. You shouldn't have to hit the space bar a bunch of times to get it to work. It should work the way its was intended too and you shouldn't have to ---- with it. Mine gives no read out at all and no log to even review.

to make the wideband work you only need black and red.
