Default Zdyne tuners.....help

I've got my setup all done 90 CRX Si with stock d16a6, hf manifold, 14b turbo, 450cc injectors, starion intercooler and Zdyne. It's running strong at 10psi but whenever I go WOT it acts like i've hit a rev limiter. It's not detonation so I'm not sure what it is. Everything is fine until it goes open loop and then this happens. Any ideas?

Dude your timing was set so freaking low in the boosted area, no wonder it was running like ***..

try that map and let me know how it works, I just whipped it up basically a modified PM7 spark map with a 450cc recurve PM6 map. Plus I smoothed out the timing under boost a bit better. I assume you run good gas? just listen for pinging, but you should be ok.

I had used the suggested settings for ignition per the help file that came with the zdyne....guess it was so newbs like me don't detonate off the bat. I'll give it a try and let you know. I always fill her up with 93....Thanks for taking a look at it. Yet another example of how HMT rocks!!!!

If I do get some pinging do I just need to back the timing down in the rpm range that I heard the pinging?

Worked like a charm! No more problem at WOT and I do seem to feel like there is more power across the board. Thanks for your help!!!

well I'm 2/3 on making decent maps this week for people that have the Zdyne without looking at the car, lol.. I have some guys on honda-tech that are using 680's and 750cc injectors and no matter what they are running like ----..

Glad I helped

Jeff

2/3 isn't bad. I've still got a few little semi dead spots in the rpm range but nothing big...part of it I think is attributed to my throttle cable being stretched. I need to replace it. The car is kinda jumpy as a result.
