Default Will this computer work with my setup?

i have a d15b2 honda crx dx and im getting a mpfi switch done do it. i was wondering if a PG7 computer will work....it is out of a 89' acura integra

If you want to chip it no. I can work, but by now means will it be easy. The do not have an external rom to work with. If you just want to run it as a Stock ECU. It will work, just may be a bit more fuel/timing as it's from a DOHC.

why not use the pm6, they are everywhere for cheap and can easily be chipped

well i guess i could....but i would have to find one first. the only reason i am asking is because i have a PG7 sittin at my house and i was jus wondering if its usable or if its trash..

I used a PG7 with a D16 before.It ran a little rich though.I have like 4 or 5 PM6's in the garage if you need one.$25 shipped.The PG7 worked nice when i had a fairly aggressive cam,header and the usual bolt ons.You get a little higher rev limiter as well.

i dont know if you would want a higer rev limit on a d15, but maybe it could handle revving a little more

i wouldnt want a higher rev limit unless my engine can handle it..and i dont think it can. all the internals are stock so i would not want to put it past the 6500 rpm redline...
