Default wideband o2 in stock z6 header location

I just a PLX m300 wideband. I haven't installed my turbo yet, but I wan't to install the wideband just to get a feel for it, before I install my turbo. Is the stock o2 location on a z6 header ok? It's just above where the two pieces meet.

i'm confused. won't he have to take out his o2 to put the other one in? and then his car would run shitty?

PLX will have a Narrowband output which he can hook up to his ECU so that it still runs normal.
