I recently learned that you have to warm up the sensor before you start the car, or else it will shorten the life of it. I am using that concept to see how long my third sensor will last. I am using a zeitronix wideband and it have a sensor warmup period when you turn on the ignition, about 30 seconds. so I will see how long.

When the EGT's are normal and the sensor has 'gently' warmed up, the condensation from normal exhaust gases have no detrimental effect on it. And if you ever read up on how meth/h2o injection worked, the h2o soaks up heat as its converted to vapor, and the meth is consumed. Its water condensation that will kill it, not water vapor. 2 different states of matter.
no warm up got it! and be verry gentle to the sensor when installing/removing it!!
and so waht about the water injection? it cant hurt the sensor when boosting?

I have a PLX M300. I don't drive my car in the winter, but I leave it hooked up all the time.
Every spring, the sensors will read normal until WOT. Then it goes lean.
I ruined two sensors by having them "sit"... so now I just have it pulled from my car completely and don't use it.
I'm sick of buying new sensors.
