why some people use ECU chipped plus VAFC or SAFC..
i've seen some guys runing with ecu chipped and vafc or safc.. why?

Its common with alot of the all motor crowd. Many will just get a basemap and the lack of ability to use an editor they use a vafc etc
Overall its a dumb move and there not cheap250+

LOL I saw some ricer sporting one on the way home from work friday. We were doing about 30 in traffic and he saw me change lanes in my accord and I guess he thought I wanted to race in bumper to bumper 30 mph traffic.
He was all reaching over and touching the vafc and looking over at me out of the corner of his eye but still obvious. Oh my favorite part of his rig was the atleast 3" drop with no camber kit. He had about 4 inchs of tire actually touching the road. :1
They use um because it's mad JDM yo.

Its not a terrible thing to use but not the best. You guys act like its just shiny it actually has a function. I used one on my bro's b16a back in the day. This was prior to crome etc. Ran a basemap and cleaned up the fuel curve with it. Ran solid. I had a fields vtec controller too at one time back in like 98-99. it did the job

I find that in combo with a chipped ECU they usually cause more problems than they are worth. Usually has to do with the AFC setup or poor wiring into the stock harness.
