1) what are your symptoms

2) can you get me a picture of yours? I have a half dozen, but they have been removed from various manifolds and I don't know what is what as far as the flanges go.

The IACV, or the EACV as it is commonly called is different between D-series manifolds.

They are all "compatible", but, the bolt positions are a bit different, say between 88-91 Si (D16A6), 92-95 Si (D16Z6), and the 96-98 Si (D16Y..

Now, if it's a DX manifold, all of those are going to be different..

Which manifold do you have?

Also, you can use a 10w 10ohm resistor spliced between the two wires of the EACV to remove it completely. Then just bolt your old broken one onto your manifold to "plug" the holes. You can get the resistor from RadioShack (Part number: 271-0132).

I run the resistor method on my Civic and it works perfectly. No irractic idle, or "high" idle conditions.
