What Wideband To Buy ?
OK now that I have my new TurboEdit chipped ECU(thanks to Xenocron) I need to learn to tune. I have talked to 2 local shops that have dynos and if its not Hondata they don't know what to do. I have tried to explain to them how TurboEdit works and they just don't get it. The one place told me to get a SAFC and tune with that. I told him I don't need it any more, I can just burn a new chip to change the tune. The other place said just bring the car in and we will work something out. At $160 per HR I don't want to sit around and watch them "work something out".
Now I know I need a wideband to get my AF numbers. Any suggestions as to which one to buy? What do I do about timing? How do I know when its not to far advanced?

buy the cheapest wideband you can; you can find the plx kits with sensor for < $300 or if you are a diy'er (which i'm guessing you're not since you had to get your ecu chipped and thats like the easiest thing EVER) you can buy a techedge kit. the te kit you have to assemble yourself and its not a walk in the park.
as far as timng just get an EGT gauge and a good ear for knock detection

i really like my techedge 2.0. i got mine prebuilt and ordered the sensor seperately for about 300. if you have a palm brand pda you have your display and logger in the palm of your hand.
edit...it can also replace your stock o2 if you want...it has a narrowband output to your ecu.

if you buy the M-200/250/300 you are a retard and deserve to be beat with a baseball bat. If you buy a wideband without datalogging you are a retard and wasting your money and should just go buy one of the narrowband light shows you can stick in your dash and you will acheive the same thing. get the zeitronix and get a decent laptop that can handle datalogging for $100-150 and your set dont buy the zeitronix display though.
