Where can you get that?

I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you :-\

I'll have it available next week as long as I get it fully tested out this week.

...back on topic from the sales bullshit...

I have an early release of the Moates datalogger. It works. I'm working with Craig to make some minor adjustments to it. All in all, it works fine.

You may want to get with me offline, I can definitely help you out. There are a few other related hardware things in the MoatesMill very near-term.

Craig, you made that clear jelly thing? I think that is what he's talking about for that pinout.

No, I didn't make that one. However, I've been making very similar devices for some time now. I made one up a few months back that was tiny like that, but I wasn't happy with the design and enclosure possibilities were pretty limited. Thought about the shrink-tube thing, but wasn't thrilled. Might be the way to go though. I mean, every dollar you save on this sort of thing is a dollar you can spend on other stuff like beer and gas.

I've got something even a little better in the works. It's actually going to be smaller and maybe even cheaper. Dead-simple to install, with a pinout that is customized to match up with the CN2 pinout. You could solder the thing into place directly, snap it on with a socket header, or attach it with a short standard 4-pin cable. Should give some versatility for folks that want a little more DIY as well as those that want to plug and go. I can share a preview if you like.

Anyways, something to think about if you guys haven't already sourced mass quantities of that other little doodad. And even if so, there's always next time ;^).
