Bulky yes, overpriced..... not if you wanna stop all the madness with wrong nokia cables. besides, its not like its for tuning. i dont mind that lil box. I sent Moates an email with a few ?'s about the unit, hopefully he will reply soon. i think this unit is as simple as it get all in one package. no more fussing with chips, converters and such.

well, the nokia usb cables are very simple to get to work if you understand how they work and what you're trying to achieve, and they cost 30 dollars less and are less bulky. what do you mean "no more chips, converters and such"? the 'converter' is just inside the box, just like it is on the nokia cables, and on the serial cables, it's all the same principle, no matter what, it has to convert ttl to rs232. you still have to solder the 4 pin header at cn2, just like any other data logging device, and in my opinion, if you're capable of doing that, your capable of getting a 5 dollar nokia cable to work. hell, i honestly prefer serial, no drivers to install or anything, simply as straight up plug and play as you can get for data logging. with any usb device you'll have to install the appropriate drivers, which 9 times out of 10 is where people run in to problems with usb data logging, not usually the cable itself.
