Thats lame, I can hook up a switch to a 5v source and turn my vtec on at will, without using the crappy vafc. What a piece..

You need to hook it up to your brake lights to be gangster.

Connect the vtec 12V wire to a shift light, and set vtec to any rpm you want, no need for VAFC or chipped ecu ;D
