Default Using a 1st gen AFC

I searched and didn't find much about how to use the older AFC or the newer ones for that matter. I can get an original AFC off a friend for next to nothing, i need to know how to use it on my '91 DX. I've read about an AFC hack but can't find any direct explanation. If you don't know which one im talking about its the old one with all the ***** and not the fancy light up display. I don't have a lot of money to put into this project so it's just the cheapest alternative. I'm gonna be running a 14b off of a DSM and probably DSM 450 injectors. Any insight will be appreciated.

That's the one. I'm currently all stock with DPFI but next pay check im picking up everything for the MPFI conversion for $100, plus he's throwing in a good 4 speed tranny. I could give less a ---- about a 4 speed but a spare tranny for next to nothing is whats up lol.
