Default useable datalogging cables? (read bottom)

I just picked up Pro, and I need to know what features flow through what devices?

Basically, does map trace need a datalogging cable or is my ostrich gonna cover any of that?

I am assuming that pretty much everything runs through a datalogging cable, so I guess I am gonna need to add one.

What is the best option for a usb driven one? I have only one USB, one serial, and one paralell port on my laptop, so I am assuming that a usb hub is the best idea, so that I can run the cable and my ostrich, I cannot use a serial style, because the wideband needs it. What does everyone suggest?

You do need the data cable to log everything from the motor. Also you can use a USB hub, I used one for a bit on my old laptop. I think it took some messing with it to get it right though, but crome has a lot more com ports than uberdata does available.

pgmfi's domain did not expire. Abort/Retry/Fail?

I have a nice writeup on how to use most any datalogging cable in the uberdata.pgmfi.org datalogging forum. I wrote it while high on cough syrup. I am very proud of it.
