New nokia cable are USB. I bought one from ebay a year ago. You have to get one with the PL-2303.

Whatever cable with this chip is supposed do the job. Buy the hulog, less problem imo...

JD, is Ostrish v2 really that faster than v1? Last version of the firware is at 920kb/sec which is pretty fast for a 32Kb bin file

I should take a look at hulog extreme, I got too much problem from other datalogging cable...

I've never flashed the firmware of any of my Ostriches. I have good reason not to, some of the later firmware disables features.

Been a longn time since I've been on here and haven't kept up to date.

Anyways, does the HuLog from Moates work for Windows Vista? My Nokia cord is being a bitch with the PL-2303 driver and not datalogging in Crome.

I doubt the general ability of Vista to act as an adequate tuning OS until SP2 at the earliest. The only time I tried it there were definite COM/port handling issues, and common C runtimes that work under XP/9x were not correctly handled. Something like eCtune that is built off of Microsfot's .NET should work in Vista now, but you are going to get very little help on the subject for most everything else out there (Honda and non-Honda).

I have no problem with vista and TurboEdit, but I have not tried crome and ectune.

It's less trouble to use XP tho...

Vista is fine for home computers. Anything work or car related XP is the way to go. I like XP 5000% more than Vista.
